I Thought You Cared I walked alone down the street I felt scared My tears fell upon my heart So heavy I thought you cared.
My heart died that night My dreams were shattered to bits. And all because I dared to Hope and think you cared.
I watched you walk out of my life I knew you’d never return I still dared to dream cause, I thought you cared.

Shyness I walked through the crowd And stood looking for him. At last I saw him standing there But only on the inside did I cry out, "I’m here, I’m here!"
I knew I’d never go near him He smiled at me But I gazed downward. And only on the inside Did I start to cry.
I walked back into the shadows Silently so no one would know. I kept looking at him, But only on the inside I said, "Hello."

Like.. Elevator Its NOT just about an elevator going up and down.. Its a song about life..
