So.. just a quick update.. We're having merentas desa this Saturday! And I'll be at one of the checkpoints for St John duty in case anyone is injured.. And 3 of us are wearing contacts! Namely me, WY and PE.. So if you see someone looking like Jie Xin but without glasses it just might be me! :) Last Fri a junior asked me for advice on how to tie bun (YES she asked me..haha..) And she was in my group on Sat. I wore contacts that day. And asked her if she recognized me. She said no. And gave me a 'who the heck are you?' look.. Seriously, i look so different?! WEll.. and its my BIRTHDAY!! :DD Dad asked me what i wanted..so i gave it a thought.. -DSLR? nahh.. my photography skills aren't that good.. -A BOOK!! (I wonder why i always want a book on my birthday..ah well..) -A book about the medical..world =) -That perfectly expensive, not enough info but too thin book on strokes, heart attacks and whatsoever i saw.. nahh.. I love books..haha.. -A..diary? Since my old one is used up. Competely.. - A novel! An interesting one.. on..adventure? romance? MEDICINE~~ So.. if i sum everything up, I want a book on medicine or a novel with a nice story! Gonna hunt for one in bookstores!! :DD
Someone once said that a book is a perfect gift, as you can write what you want to say and give it to..the recipient.. And many, many years later it'll still be there, although the letters fade and the pages turn yellow.. (fine, I added the last sentene..) Which is so true! :)
