Watched 'You Don't Know Jack' last night. Starring Al Pacino. This movie is about Dr. Jack Kevorkian, an American pathologist, who tried to legalize euthanasia (for mercy killing..erm. Physician assisted suicide..). He even went to jail for eight and a half years. But the court wouldn't hear of the case (to legalize euthanasia). I think he is a great person. To grant the wishes of death of the 130 people that he assisted to commit suicide. With a euthanasia machine (Thanatron) that he invented.

Another contained a sleep-inducing barbiturate called sodium thiopental, and the third a lethal mixture of potassium chloride, which immediately stopped the heart, and pancuronium bromide, a muscle relaxant to prevent spasms during the dying process. (These are the three drugs administered in the lethal injection execution protocol, but in the execution protocol, the pancuronium bromide is administered before the potassium chloride.)
